The jetty remains though isn’t maintained. Shell of the 1877 steam powered mill and it’s associated engine house with chimney have been used for maritime storage though with the loss of the small local fishing industry this might no longer be the case.
The quarry remains as an overgrown area.
The combined managers house and opffice along with a magazine remained until recent years but the area has now been redeveloped.
The incline route is used by the local farmer and remains distinct.
Worked to produce architectural limestone in the 1600s. Real commercial exploitation began around 1834. Limestone was taken down a horse drawn inline to the coastal mill and workshops and finished ‘Angelsey Marble’ exported via sea from the quarry’s own jetty.
