Estimated Grid Ref. A small tin mine situated south of St Ives Consols, but its exact location is now unknown, with no visible remnants of its operations. It exploited the western section of the Bahavellah lode, which was hosted in granite terrain. This lode ran parallel to the Standard lode of St Ives Consols, approximately 300 yards apart. While its eastern portion was previously worked for copper by Wheal Bahavella, confusion arose regarding its name. Dines suggested it was also called Wheal Tavas, but later clarification by Noall confirmed that Wheal Tavas was a separate entity altogether.
