Early 19th-century trials were conducted on the Pantypedw Vein near Gors Farm and Prysau Woods.
Disused shaft mounds can be found in the fields to the east of the farm at SJ 1610 7280, as well as in the woods east of the road at SJ 1617 7310, SJ 1618 7310, SJ 1619 7311, SJ 1634 7300, and SJ 1643 7300. Trials were also attempted in the area of Waen Isaf at SJ 1520 7320, but no certain evidence of these remains.
