Walker’s Shaft is identifiable at SJ 0563 8049. To the northwest of the Dyserth-Prestatyn Road, at SJ 0566 8049, the stonework remains of Walker’s Engine House, Boiler House, and chimney are visible as grassed-over mounds in the field, a parcel of land known as Tir-y-Gwynt, as shown on the 1799 Map of the Mines (Mostyn MSS). The site is also traversed by the 1750s leat on its north-western side.
Ore was dressed at the Maesyrerwddu site.
To the northwest of the shaft and its remains, the foundations of a small rectangular building—likely a magazine.
Worked Panton’s Vein, was sunk in the 1870s (Frost, P, 1997). The mine was served by the mineral railway.
