Located on Lesceave Cliff, slightly east of Praa Sands, was a copper mine. Its territory stretched northward to Hendra farm and eastward along Rinsey West Cliff, where it connected with Wheal Prosper. The grid reference denotes a dumping site situated on the cliff edge, where copper ores were still present as late as 1960. Another dump associated with this mine lies approximately 150 meters further east. Operating during the 1840s, the mine yielded 67 tons of copper ore between 1842 and 1843.
