Estimated Grid Ref. Small operation for tin and china clay situated on the western edge of the St Austell granite. The site comprised a small pit for extracting china clay and shallow underground workings for tin. However, these tin workings have since vanished beneath the Melbur pit. In the year 1873, the mine produced 5 tons of black tin.
