Run in or filled in ginged shaft. Shaft has well made steel grille (removable?). Looks to be about 10m or so deep. A tub trug can be seen in the gloom so must have been dug relatively recently.

About 20m north, and on the next limestone bench down is a very short trial adit.

Mineralised, but mainly seems to be quartz. No obvious signs of copper.



Grilled shaft amongst obvious area of spoil.
