he mine is in a rather spectacular setting, being driven into the cliff above Greathough Brook. It has been closed for a number of years but there is a short length of track with a 1 ft 8 in gauge leading to a loading bank, but the dipple has collapsed. On the left hand side of the entrance is a modern carving in a mediaeval style
