  • 1893–1898 – Randlay Brick & Tile Co (Adam Boulton & George Wilkinson partnership, leased from Botfields).
  • 1898–1916 – Adam Boulton & Co (Boulton & Wilkinson owners).
  • 1916–1918 – Randlay Brick & Tile Co (Wilkinson with Executors of Adam Boulton).
  • 1918–1939 – Adam Boulton & Co (run by Boulton’s children).
  • 1939–1967 – Adam Boulton & Co Ltd (incorporated, family-owned until liquidation).

In 1893, Adam Boulton partnered with George Wilkinson at Randlay Brickworks, which became Adam Boulton & Co after they bought the site in 1898. Following Boulton’s death in 1916, his children continued the firm, which diversified but sold its coal merchanting arm in 1938 and was incorporated as Adam Boulton & Co Ltd the following year. Despite wartime difficulties, the company modernised through the 1940s–50s and invested heavily in plant and clay reserves. However, the creation of Dawley New Town in the 1960s led to compulsory sale of their land and works; the company was wound up in April 1967 after nearly 80 years of operation.
