Description
The mine is a small, ancient tin operation located on the south side of Cot Valley. It exploited a single lode, accessed by an adit southwest of Bosavern hamlet and a shaft a bit further south. The coordinates indicate the position of the shaft, where an overgrown burrow still exists in a field corner. In 1901, the mine yielded 1/4 ton of black tin.
