Grassed-over shafts and spoil heaps following an east-west vein, along with opencut workings on its outcrops. These features are located in the area between Gelli Fowler Farm and Waenbrodlas.



Mining on the Silver Rake began in the early 18th century, carried out by the Quaker Company. By the 19th century, more extensive workings had taken place, which largely erased the earlier excavations.
