Well preserved incline from Gorseddau Tramway branch leads up to mining area. Remains of buildings, crusher and spoil heaps. There is one obvious open, wide shaft capped with steel mesh. Remains of othe shafts.

1850 Mining Company of Wales takes possession
1868 Cwmdwyfor Copper & Silver Lead Mine
1874 Gorseddau Tramway Branch to Prince of Wales slate quarry within 1 mile of mine. 2 lead an 6 copper lodes revealed.
1876 Tramway incline and drum working. Company runs out of funds and wound up.
1876 Assets bought by Cwmdyfor Mining Company Ltd., mining resumes with disappointing results
1878 Mine abandoned. In a strange twist, company moves to Mid Wales to operate the Pensarn Mine
1879 Auctioned.
