The Dolphin workings are located to the east of a small settlement of stone cottages at SJ 1960 7360. Additionally, a single shaft remains at SJ 1925 7368, near Laburnam Cottage, to the north of Penyrhwylfa.

The large-scale workings of the 19th century by the North Henblas Mining Company have left little evidence behind. Surface archaeology may have been lost due to the construction of the new A55 trunk road.
