Including North Retallack. Operated along the Perran Iron Lode, located approximately 300 yards east of Treamble Mine. The site of Engine Shaft is indicated by the provided grid reference. According to Hamilton Jenkin, the engine house, which remained standing as of 1953, was deliberately destroyed in 1956. Presently, there are no remnants of the mine’s workings. From 1858 to 1880, the mine yielded 10,826 tons of iron ore, 11,639 tons of zinc ore, 198 tons of 75% lead ore, and 600 ounces of silver.
