Earthwork shafts and spoil mounds from the mining operations remain to the south of the Coetia Butler Quarry at SJ 1725 7560, located to the north of the new A55 trunk road.

The Pantyne Mining Company operated from the early 19th century until 1874, followed by the New Pantyne Company, which continued mining operations from 1881 to 1903. These two companies worked the sett in close proximity to the American and Coetia Butler Companies.
