Opencut and interconnecting shafts. Levels.
A prominent east-west opencut is the primary surface feature, with two shafts at its base (SN 8367 9707) that link to a level driven into the hillside to the south (SN 8362 9698). Several trial workings are scattered around the opencut, likely attempts to trace extensions of the lode.
The southern level connects to underground workings at Rhoswydol Mine.
Approximately half a mile west, within and above Nant Cymdu, there are two levels and a shaft. The upper level is located at SN 8230 9750, while the lower level lies at the base of Nant Cymdu (SN 8220 9720). The shaft is situated at SN 8172 9762.
