Operated on the Coetia Ball cross-course, working a sett located to the north of the Maen Llwydd monument. The mining activity in this area involved a series of shafts that ran in a north-to-south direction, extending from Holloway Road to Smithy Gate. Within the Picton sett, several shafts are still visible at SJ 1764 7579, SJ 1764 7575, SJ 1767 7570, SJ 1775 7568, and SJ 1775 7566. These shafts continue southwards towards the Pen-yr-allt area, where additional shafts are located at SJ 1767 7555, SJ 1770 7556, and SJ 1770 7553.
