Old Series OS maps show 2 lodes. 2 shafts about 50fm apart near the Swydd Ffynnon road. Also an adit to the east.
Remains of wheelpit near the river, and the rusting remains of a Cornish boiler, The dumps show a lot of mineralisation.

1845 | Francis writes to Matthew Francis that he had offered the mine to ‘Mr James Knight who has a company at his fingers’ end and will be down with me about the end of next week at which time the water should be got out.’ Some time later he complained that ‘Mr Knight promised by all that was good that I should hear from him on Monday last with a five pounds note but he has up to this time failed to do so.
