The mine worked a northeast-southwest striking lode and produced tin and copper. Between 1860 and 1882, it is recorded as having produced 412 tons of black tin and 690 tons of 5.5% copper ore. Details of the mine can be found in Dines, page 269. Recently, an old gunnis working has been infilled using material from the old waste dumps, but settlement at the surface has occurred. This has exposed fresh faces of mine waste in the remains of the dumps, accessible for collecting. While much of the material consists of largely barren development rock waste, some lode material has been discovered.
