Colcharton Mine, also referred to as Devon and Bedford Mine, is located north of Gulworthy, approximately 2 miles southwest of Tavistock in West Devon. It operated on the eastern extension of the Main Lode of Bedford United Mine, positioned about 550 meters to the west. Although there are no documented production records, the mine is primarily viewed as a copper prospect, indicating its focus on exploration rather than substantial output.
