Including Jenkin. Amalgamation: The Caradon. According to Dines, West Rosedown Mine commenced operations in 1828 and resumed work in 1840. Recorded production figures from 1844 to 1890 indicate 393 tons of black tin and 128,500 tons of copper ore with a grade of 5.25%. In 1872, West Rosedown sold 10 tons of copper ore containing 5% copper.
