Lower wet adit is below the level of the viaduct and stoped to surface. Nothing remains of the small, pelton wheel powered plant, to the north.



A small working on several levels with stoping. Some trial work undertaken by the same company to the North close to Gefail y Miners copper workings. In 1897 taken over by The Arenig Mining Company and operated as ‘Arenig Mine’. Output during their ownership totalled 35oz of gold from 68 tons of ore. In 1908 aquired by ‘Roman Gold & Silver Mines Ltd.’ though there is no recorded output during their ownership. Closed in 1911

These workings went under the railway in Cwm Prysor and John Burman has found on the tips a splendid specimen of gold in a small piece of weathered quartz.
