The Pantynef cross-course runs north to south off the Holloway Vein. The workings can be traced southwards from the Holway Road. The setts appear to have worked the string to the west of the Grange, running southwards to Pen-y-Ball. The line of large shafts and spoil mounds can be followed to the east of the woodland.
