Run of collapsed shafts and waste heaps scattered across the fields to the north of the former Quarry, which is now owned by Stoddards Silicon Quarries. The most prominent feature noted in historical sources is the engine shaft located to the south, although no clear structural evidence remains of the engine house itself. A second shaft was situated to the west of the main engine shaft.

In Cefn-y-fedw sandstone - worked the eastern end of the Westminster Vein and was operated by the Llanarmon District Mining Company until 1913. The site is located to the east of a small graveyard and the plot once occupied by Moriah Chapel. Historical records, such as Smith (1921), mention that the engine shaft was sunk through layers of sandstone and chert. This mine site was once home to an engine house and shaft that can be found marked on the first edition OS map at SJ 2160 5675.
