All the remains on the surface is a headframe over the 80ft shaft and a small winding engine from the 1960s.
This mine was worked as part of the Gregory mine next door until closure in 1806 due difficult geological conditions and issues with flooding.
The mine was reopened in the 1960s as a small private mine to produce fluorspar from the waste rock that was left by the lead miners.
It is located in a field opposite some houses. The mine owners do give permission for exploration but I do not know who owns the mine.
