South Roskear Mine operated on the eastern section of South Roskear’s main lode, which was accessed by several shafts including Duncan’s, Hodge, Vivian’s, Pendarves, and Taylor’s shafts. The coordinates provided correspond to Pendarves Shaft. Over the years, from 1821 to 1850, the mine extracted 27,807 tons of copper ore with an average grade of 7.8%. During the period from 1874 to 1881, it produced an additional 383 tons of copper ore and 389 tons of black tin. Furthermore, the mine yielded 35 tons of zinc ore and 655 tons of arsenic.
