Small tin mine, positioned south of Gear Lane and east of Trythall farm, was initially documented in 1800 and was still active in 1847. However, there are no records detailing its output. According to the Ordnance Survey map from 1877, the site featured the ruins of an engine house and two shafts, although there are no visible remnants today. Hamilton Jenkin’s observations suggest that the shafts were filled in back in 1962. The grid reference identifies the location of the former engine house.
