c1700 Worked by shaft by William Waller’s Mine Adventurers.
early 19C Lode exploited at depth by the Taylors via Lefel Newydd which was joined to eariler, shallowe workings by winzes.
c1853 Attention turned to the site by directors of Bwlch Cwmervin (on the same set). Some rich patches of ore found.
1856 Tregonning replaced by Captain Robert Northey from the recently closed Cowarch lead mine.
1857 With stopes yielding only 7 cwt per fathom, the directors elected to abandon the mine and re-open the Bwlch Cwmervin workings.
