Attention turned to the site by directors of Bwlch Cwmervin (on the same set). Some rich patches of ore found. |
1856 |
Tregonning replaced by Captain Robert Northey from the recently closed Cowarch lead mine. |
1857 |
With stopes yielding only 7 cwt per fathom, the directors elected to abandon the mine and re-open the Bwlch Cwmervin workings. |
