Remains of lead mining activity can still be seen in the fields and woodland west of Prysau at SJ 1655 7305. Two prominent shaft mounds are located along the track leading from Prysau into the woodland at SJ 1643 7300 and SJ 1645 7301. Deeper into the woodland to the west, additional shafts can be found at SJ 1634 7300, SJ 1619 7311, SJ 1618 7310, and SJ 1617 7310. A solitary shaft positioned southwest of the woods at SJ 1610 7280 may be associated with either Gors or Prysau.
