Cafe, Mine tours, Museum, working mine on site, only coal mine in the UK where you can take photos underground.

Tour offers a caplamp-guided underground tour through New Road Adit, leading visitors to a previously worked coal seam only 18 inches high. The route returns to the surface via the historic drainage adit. On-site displays include tools used by Forest miners.



Working freemine includes a drainage adit originally driven in the 1800s by renowned metallurgist and industrialist David Mushet. I
