1855 | Trials commence with 58 fm adit driven to intersect a 12fm engine shaft. |
1856 | Waterwheel and drawing machine in operation in the shaft which had ‘a very favourable lode full of gossan, white lead ore and blende’. |
1863 | Six men at working sinking below the 34fm level. Duck machine operated by flat rods used to ventilate the workings. Captain Northey formerly of Bwlch Consols, Great Consols and East Wheal Rose in charge. Nothing of value was discovered in the 36fm level, and work was terminated. |
