See also: Trefullock United Mines. A small tin mine operated on a northeast-trending lode called the Champion Lode. It was worked from a shaft located southeast of Trefullock farm. This lode was characterized by a stockwork of cassiterite-rich veinlets within a belt of country rock. It was reported to intersect with six east-west trending lodes within a north-south distance of 150 fathoms, but details about them are scarce. Although the grid reference marks the approximate location of the shaft, there are no visible remains of the workings today. In 1852, the mine produced 25 tons of black tin. Around 1860, it operated for a period in conjunction with the neighboring Chypraze Mine under the name Trefullock United Mines.
