Drainage adit for Stencoose and Mawla mine. As of 2024 the channel draining the adit has silted up, but a strong clear flow of water comes up in a heavily ochre stained pool.
This adit is on CRoW land, but the footpath allegedly running past it is completely non-existent, so access is challenging.
