Several filled in shafts to the south of the Fron-fawnog Mine visible at grid reference SJ 2045 6330.

The New Hafod Mining Company was active in the Gwernaffield area, making recorded returns in 1883. Their mining operations appear to have overlapped with the easternmost workings of the Deborah mine, situated west of Hafod Road leading to Gwernaffield. One particular shaft associated with this company was located southwest of Hafod at grid reference SJ 2110 6340

Additionally, historical records indicate that the company reported activity at the Pantybuarth Mine, at SJ 206 645.
