Some buildings remain on site in ruinous but stabilised condition. The whole quarry and brickworks area forms part of the Breakwater Country Park

William Wild & Sons established their brickworks at the Breakwater Quarry site in 1901 to produce silica fire bricks. Output was shipped by sea to Liverpool and Glasgow from Holyhead.
