Engine drained Agar and Great South Tolgus. This mine operated on the western section of the Great South Tolgus Main lode, also known as the Fortune lode. The adit level followed the lode to the west and linked up with the adit level in Wheal Agar sett, where the lode is referred to as the North lode. Between 1853 and 1861, the mine extracted a total of 2,580 tons of copper ore, with an average grade of 8.5%.
