The mine, situated in the valley south of Sevenstones, exploited three roughly east-northeast-trending lodes. While historical accounts suggest that the lodes contained both tin and copper ores, evidence from dumps indicates the presence of only tin and tungsten ores, with no records of copper ores being extracted. One of the remaining traces of the mine is marked by an overgrown shaft dump in a field south of the A390 road. Production records show that between 1900, 1903, and 1905-1908, the mine yielded 9 tons of black tin and 3 tons of arsenic.
