Located east of Skinners Bottom barely leaves any evidence of its existence today. Its territory encompassed five lodes, extending in an ENE direction within a span of roughly 350 yards. Exploration covered a distance exceeding 1,000 yards within this zone, evident from surface disturbances due to mining activities. Although it’s believed that the mine extracted tin ore, there are no documented records of its production. According to A.K. Hamilton Jenkin, c1830s Wheal Briton operated in conjunction with Wheal Concord for a period under the collective name East Treskerby Mine.
