Workings extended through the valley south of the house known as Golden Grove (Smith, 1921). Over time, much of the remaining evidence has been lost within the woodland of Pant-y-coed.
A rock outcrop is visible approximately 50 meters from the lane. Several narrow openings or fissures, each less than 0.5 meters wide, can still be seen on the southern side of the outcrop. Additionally, at the southeastern corner of the woodland, next to the road, there is a small pit or depression, possibly a remnant of past mining activity.
