Local name for Trevarrack. Small tin mine, situated northwest of Beersheba farm, had a shaft known as Brown’s Shaft, surrounded by granite debris, as noted by Dines. Additionally, an engine house was depicted nearby on the 1877 Ordnance Survey map, although both structures have since vanished. Today, only an overgrown burrow on the boundary between two fields marks the site. Unfortunately, there are no available records detailing the mine’s output.
