Wheal Budnock and Wheal Grass were two small mining operations depicted on a plan of Trevellas Downs dating back to around 1700, currently housed in the Mining Records Office in London. These workings were located on the land now occupied by the East Blue Hills Mine, as documented by Hamilton Jenkin in 1962.
