Wheal Chance, an attempt to revive the earlier Rosemorran, aimed to exploit a northeast-trending lode within granite, accessed by multiple adits southwest of Rosemorran farm. Operating between 1908 and 1913, it managed to produce 3.5 tons of black tin. Despite a subsequent trial around 1930, no additional production materialized. From 1974 onwards, the mine has been under private ownership, serving as an industrial archaeology and field training center.
