Mill driven by 200hp water turbine fed by 1.5km long water course. Another 11hp pelton wheel at Fron Goch operated an aerial ropeway carrying waste for processing.

> 1918 | Welsh Mines Corporation installed flotation plant under the management of R.R. Nancarrow of Pontrhydygroes. Also proposed 400m crosscut to the Gwaithgoch lode abd 750m one further to north - both of which came to nothing. Company soon closed due to large falls in metal prices. |
late 1920s | Increase in metal prices prompts another company to process more of the dumps uintil another fall in prices and the final abandinment of the mines. |
