The sett is intersected to the southwest by the A55, just west of Brynffynon (SJ 1829 7484), with mining workings visible on both sides of the road. These workings were associated with a cross-course off the Milwr Vein.
The old stone buildings of Coetia Mawr, are still present today but have been repurposed as a pet cemetery.
