Also known as Ruthers Mine and Indian Queens Mine, this iron mine comprised Treliever Iron Mine and Toldish Iron Mine. Ruthvoes Mine was situated one mile north of Indian Queens in the Belowda Area of the St. Austell Mining District. It operated the Ruthvoes Section from Footway Shaft and Engine Shaft, while the Toldish section was worked from Engine Shaft. Production records for the various sections of the mine are as follows: Treliever (1856-61) - 1,380 tons of iron ore; Ruthvoes (1856-63 and 1876) under the name Indian Queens Mine - 17,487 tons of Hematite; Ruthvoes (1872) - 1,242 tons of Hematite and 1,022 tons of manganese ores.
