Three east-west lodes: Main, Great, and South, yielding tin, copper, and arsenic ores. It was primarily developed along the Great Lode. This mine is part of a cluster established following the discovery of lodes during the construction of the Tavistock Canal Tunnel. The provided grid reference denotes the small dump at Matthew’s Shaft, which has been sunk on the Main Lode.
