1710-1720 | According to Lewis Morris, a great amount of argentiferous ore was discovered during this period. |
1740s | Was still yielding a profit with Waller’s son as manager. |
1848-9 | Some work done by the Bwlch company. |
Lewis Morris recommened the driving of a deep adit, but the ultimate depth of the mine was only 12fm below adit, and the lode was never tested at depth.
*There was a general belief that boggy ground was an indication of good mineralisation!
