Year Activity
c1838 At the request of Lord Lisburne, mine tried by John Taylor using a water pressure engine from Flitshire to pump out water. Mine proved disappointing.
1848 Described by geologist W.W. SMyth as ‘an old mine 35 fathoms deep, and once very productive.’
1911 Taken up by St James Syndicate who raised 1,000 tons of lead and zinc ore fefore closure.
1917 Closure
