c 1740s Worked by the Mine Adventurers
c 1820 Exploited together with Penybanc by Job Sheldon.
c 1840 Worked with Penybanc by Loveden company sinking shaft to Erglodd adit and driving towards Penybanc.
c1857 Worked with Penhybanc and Erglodd as Penpompren and Penybanc United, Dr Hobson and Mr E Green the major shareholders.
1861 Progress reported as being made.
1869 Company collapses, items for sale including: two waterwheels, 700fm wire rope, drawing machine and ore stamps.
1872 Attempt to float Erglodd and Penpompren Silver Lead Mines for £30,000 with favourable report by Absalom Francis in prospectus. A letter to the Mining Journal by Edward Gledhill the former manager stating that there was no ore, and previous shareholders had lost £8,000 scuppered this.
1883 Erglodd United formed to work the three mines, but not much was done.
