Three levels were established to work the Lodgesike Vein (distinct from a vein of the same name in Teesdale) to the west of Ireshope Burn. Hemsley’s Level (located at NY84973733) worked the vein in the Nattrass Gill Hazle, Lodgesike Level (at NY84543717) operated in the shale above the Great Limestone, and Wham Level (at NY84823717) operated above the Four Fathom Limestone.
